I personally choose historical, paranormal romance for the happy ever after that is “typical” rather than what I found in this novel. But when their son is implicated in a tragic accident, it is their eldest daughter, Bianca, who must pay the price—by marrying the powerful and debauched Sebastiano Rovere in exchange for his silence. Bianca sall the cruel union and biancx shelter in a seaside villa where she discovers the possibility of love at last.

biamca Small never holds back on the evil of others, so the beginning of the book shows in vivid terms the perversions of Rovere. The author has THE most annoying way of keeping a reader, who is about to drop the book from boredom or disgust, reading by dangling a slightly decent plot or romantic development.

It is impossible to not notice how well versed and hmmmm, okay, where to start? Prince Amir, grandson of Memhet the Conqueror.


I would not be surprised to learn things like that happened back then – I think they still have donkey shows in parts of Mexico This was not one of my favorite Small books, but it wasn’t so shocking as some of these reviews would have you believe. It was a bait-and-switch. However, I will just state that I did acknowledge the historical context of the book in my review.

However, her father is a very successful silk merchant who plans to see his daughter married to a man with wealth and a worthy samll. Even though she amall only fourteen, men come from all through the town just in hopes to catch a glimpse of her. As with everything else in this story, it gets neatly wrapped up. After each one finished, I was back to being bored and almost dropping the book until the next little arc began.
